Basic manners under saddle and on the ground are key elements in a horse’s early training.   This is where it all begins.   The horses are moved into their dressage work from basic to Grand Prix and their work over fences as their mental and physical capabilities develop.

*We accept horses in training working in other disciplines.   Dressage is a foundation for all horses and riders.

**Problem horses are taken for a 30-day evaluation period and a training program is discussed following that 30 days.

Horses are naturally good-hearted.  Most behavior problems with them stem from human mishandling, fear, or pain. Horses that have behavioral and physical problems that seem to defy mainstream explanations are frequently not so mysterious to Lisa, her staff, and her team of vets and farriers as they use their intuitive and healing abilities to decipher and correct the problems. Training at Brevard Equestrian Center can eradicate most forms of bad behavior in most horses, and our team works with the owners of the horses to bring understanding and resolution to the relationship between them.  Our team has proven to be especially gifted at working with horses through gentle, natural means.

Our team takes in horses for behavioral and training rehabilitation on a month-to-month basis and also travels to people's farms to visit horses where they live.
